MusicMD is a passion project that I worked on with a group of close friends. We were all big fans of live music and wanted to make an app that would let us discover new music around us.
The app displays all music events around the user's location and compiles a playlist of songs likely to be played at that event. The user gets a taste of the artist and can save the playlist and event to their favorites list.
MusicMD uses a Node.js back-end with Express.js, MongoDB, and React.js. It also uses APIs from Ticketmaster, Setlist.fm, and Google maps.

Correlationships is a data visuization project that uses data from various free APIs to build and compare unrelated data.
The idea was to show that just because two datasets are correlated, does not mean that there is a relationship between the two where one influences another.
Every click calls 2 randomly chosen APIs and generates a comparison graph between the two datasets.
The app is built using vanila JavaScript for the API calls and Chart.js for the generation of the graph.

Mr.T with Strangers is a full-stack app that is satirizing sites like Meetup.com
Users can look for events near them and attend those events or host events of their own.
The app is made using Ruby on Rails for the back-end, React.js for the front-end, and PostgreSQL for the database.

Who am I?

I started as an Electrical Engineer, experimented with Network Engineering, and now I have finally arrived at Software Development. I have a knack for understanding the big picture when it comes to the interactions of different fields of tech.
I realized I enjoyed working with software when I was given the opportunity to be a part of a start up. I helped out with designing the software conceptually and worked with very experienced engineers to understand what needed to be done to ship version 1.0 of the product. I was tasked with developing the prototype facial recognition authentication system that would be shown to investors.
Since then, I have been refining my skills with Ruby, Rails, JavaScript, Node.js, React.js, CSS, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
I am interested in and looking to gain experience in the machine learning space.
